New Streaming Direct Links
Finally was able to sniff out the new direct links for Bubba One and Bubba 98.7. Thank God they started using Stream The World so they actually have some real demo/geographical data to see advertising to people outside of Tampa. Only 3 years behind the power curve but better late than never. No more fucking flash player streams! Now, you can use WinAmp, WMP, XMPlay or whatever streaming front end you want besides the lame ass Flash based players that suck fat donkey cock.

That didn't take long. The Stream The World links are gone. Streamguys are now providing mp3PRO links for Bubba One and Bubba Two. Confused by the change. The .aac streams had better sound and saved more bandwidth but to each their own.

Any idea what the deal with the garbage IO site is? Hasn't worked for a while now and I just checked a minute ago only to find, "Sorry, that page could not be found." on both Bubba One and Two pages.

And if you go to the "talk" section it just redirects you to Bubba's section of the site now and as you can tell by the url, they no longer host Bubba One and Two. |

I'd been listening via the streamguys links, but I don't think I found them from any IO-related site. I'm pretty sure I got those here.
Initially I sort of wondered if there was some issue during the transition to the iobusiness music garbage that prevented the Bubba stream from working. I only now found the steamguys link there. I'd always just click the Listen Live button and didn't even realize there was a drop-down with options for One or Two (easy enough to change one to two in the url if I wanted to change it up). The Listen Live link still goes to the old page while the drop-down links are the correct streamguys links. Did IO hire Tud...RadioPoison to run their website or what? |
