I lived in Texas (San Antonio) for three years while in the Army and loved it. Really nice place, especially Austin and the "Hill Country".

Bubba is right about the Alamo, it's quite underwhelming in size, it doesn't help that its right in the middle of down town surrounded by hi rise buildings

I had this exact same thing happen to me, except I didn't shoot the cop. My psycho gf at the time filed an injunction against me and the cops came to my house and took my guns. I was cool with them and the court case was of course thrown out and there were no bubbles, no troubles. The moral of this story is; DON'T DATE STRIPPERS
