I remember people loosing their minds when he started doing 4 days a week. I like how how he lied and said it would just be an occasional friday.

When Howard was going through his negotiations and decision process for this new contract, I was one of the people who was actually hoping he'd walk away, or better yet, change up the show to something completely different. The show as it has evolved is old and tired and predictable and without energy, and it really has jumped the shark. This, from someone who really has been listening for a VERY long time (I am an old fuck, boys...).

So, going from 5 days to 4 days sucked, because in the beginning of the Sirius adventure, there was a lot of energy and a lot of hope for something new and different. That's all gone now, though, so pulling back to 3 days a week is less than what should happen. This horse should be put out of its misery.

I was never a "big" Howard fan, especially when he was on FM. I got Sirius for Christmas in '05, so when they allowed Howard in Canada again I listened. I liked the show, but over the course of the last year it has lost its appeal. Since March 1, I have listened only once or twice. I just don't care. That, and I'm a big Bubba mark!
