Default Fact check FAIL for obama

THE FACTS: Obama did not wait to make that case to Congress, despite his past statements that presidents should get congressional authorization before taking the country to war, absent a threat to the nation that cannot wait.

“The president does not have the power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation,” he told The Boston Globe in 2007 in his presidential campaign. “History has shown us time and again … that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the legislative branch.”

Obama’s defense secretary, Robert Gates, said Sunday that the crisis in Libya “was not a vital national interest to the United States, but it was an interest.”

the bullshit reasoning and spin they have put on it is that the usa is only acting as a subordinate in a nato issue. the other odd thing is that the usa has said they would like to see a regime change, but nato would be happy if gaddafi just stops killing people. i don't know how you do both.

If the US would step in and take action with Ivory Coast and set a leader there and do the same with say Somalia and Ethiopia, maybe the Congo. i would have more belief in these bullshit wars.
But no we cant even stop the problems with the Mexican drug wars which wouldnt cost us much to snuff out. How does Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya effect us? other than the fact we want it to effect us. So many worries for the average American on how to pay bills and feed thier own. those 3 places are the last thing on their minds. The one thing they think is if we quit fucking sticking our noses in other peoples bussiness at a tune of a 100 mill a day,, i could get a fucking tax break to make my life easier
that last Pres do intervien right was Bush Sr, go in tell the fucker to knock it off and have 2 other countries to pay for it. didnt try to over throw, just let people know we can fuck you up
Lately we have been proven we are not that tough cause we tie ourselfs up in so much bullshit rules of engagement its not even funny
War is ugly. its suppose to be. either do it right or dont do it at all. Dont send people to do the dirty work then make rules so you can sleep better at night lying to yourself you did the right thing. man the fuck up and tell them balls to the walls. If you cant do that then you have already decided its not worth sending our troops to do what they are trained for.

they say war is for profit, but do they know the true value of life?
