WORST SONG EVER* Metallica got their start in the early 80's and started off very strong. They went from teenaged kids handing out their music for free, to young adult superstars, to bitchy 30 somethings complaining about people getting their music for free almost overnight. So strong were their first 3 and a half albums, that people will still make excuses for the consistent stream of crap they have put out for the last 25 years. By 2003, long time bassist, Jason Newsted had figured out that he had accidentally joined the wrong band in 1989 and split. He was replaced by Robert Trujillo eventually, but for the St. Anger album, it was session musician Bob Rock on bass.
