I've said it before and I'll say it again. Bubba is giving Cowhead WAYYYYY too much credit for getting him fired from Cox. Why can't he understand they just didn't want to do business with him anymore (even though he was bringing in giant ratings)?

No sweat. Your insight is directly on target. For the record, I never meant to state or imply that ratings "don't matter." However, ratings are accumulated for the sales team to sell advertising time. Revenue is far more important to a station's livelihood. Station chemistry factors in as well. Take it easy.

The only thing about the ads and such is I have no clue how those contracts are done, how long they are, what constitutes a reason to rescind, etc.

I can't see the Bone keeping top paying ads with their failures.
