I usually find in most cases that coaches that come from big name head coaches don't work out too well, minus everyone from Bill Walsh's tutelage of course. Also most people that come from Bama turn out to be busts once they are out from under Saban's umbrella. Time will tell of course, but I think UF should have thrown the bank at a big named coach.

Up until recently the Gators were a premier team, and until they get a big name coach they won't regain their prominence IMO.
