So pissed - my former employer is contesting my unemployment - however, they sent in their request 6 days passed the deadline so maybe it's going to be fine. Still, motherfucker, right?

That is fucked up, but they always try to do that. In Fla it is even easier for them to do, as they can fire you at anytime and all they have to say is lack of performance or some bullshit.
