Is getting 5 markets right off the bat a common thing? Not really sure what the "norm" is in a situation like this.

Just seems weird that you get 5 markets without even having a show on in any real fm market

Well, there's always the BMS, seeing as how they're the low guys on the totem pole and they already have a morning show.

Also, with the Nick and Artie show folding, maybe they're thinking of going in a different direction for late nights. Just two potential slots.

yeah those are my two obvious picks too... both outsiders and non local as well. That might play into it.

The Nick and Artie thing has me wondering too if they aren't losing some syndications like the bone...

I'm not sure how many stations N&A have/had at the moment. But it wouldn't shock me if any stations drop the show. It's very much a big unknown. And Artie isn't the most reliable guy.
