The movies without Lucas have been good but I don't consider them canon since they aren't Lucas's work

Lucas wasn't planning on continuing the series. So hey, it's all the same to me. Wasn't a fan of TFA being so self consciously nostalgic but the new cast is what really made me love it. They're fucking fantastic. Next movie needs more Poe.

Having grown up on the Extended Universe canon I was kind of sad to see it go but it had a good run. I consider it like Earth-2 or one of the other DC multiverses.

Rian Johnson is going to kill it with The Last Jedi. Watch Brick, Looper or his Breaking Bad episodes.

The new games suck though. Battlefield is a half assed cash grab and EA are scumbags and they should win worst company in the country again.

R.I.P. Lucasarts. That game from Visceral looks like it has a chance of being the first great game in the Disney era but who the hell knows.
