USA Today: Comedian Lange crosses the line on 'Joe Buck Live'
NEW YORK — It was train wreck TV Monday night as comedian Artie Lange of The Howard Stern Show took over the maiden taping of HBO's new show, Joe Buck Live.
Lange unleashed a barrage of obscene and homophobic jokes about Buck and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, while calling singer Jessica Simpson a "fat chick" who resembles the late Saturday Night Live comic Chris Farley. At the end of the live taping in Manhattan, Buck thanked Lange for putting an end to his show after one episode. Fellow guest Michael Irvin grabbed the microphone and joked: "It's refreshing to see white-on white crime." More here: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/2009-...joe-buck_N.htm Here's the video:
Methinks they're taking shit too seriously. |
It's already creating waves..
http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/20...ie_hijinx.html They are now saying that Artie won't be on Conan anytime soon cause they don't think he's sober enough... |
It was horrific yet amusing at the same time. The sucking cock dot com line I think crossed the line.
|
I think Joe Buck's show had a PG rating as well, that's something people are missing. Apparently Artie didn't realize that.
|
Shit was funny... as long as the show allowed that type of subject matter/language then what's the problem? He busted his balls, but also paid homage.
|
At least it gets Howard in the news. Artie should call into Bubba's show on Friday, I'd love to hear that.
But this gives ammo to the growing segment of the audience that hate everything Artie does and he can't do anything right in their eyes. Remind you of anyone? |
Joe Buck is one of the most annoying sports announcers ever.
He sucks. He'd be doing minor league games in Idaho if his last name wasn't Buck. |

I can't imagine Who you might mean [/sarcasim] in any case Everyone is sucking up the publicity. all the while they trash Artie they are Loving it! |
