I don't know man. One of my old platoon Sgts was stationed there, then got out and moved to FLA. He drove back to Ft Hood and killed himself. Place is a shithole though, but this dude just got transferred there from Bliss I think, which isn't much better I hear.

Yeah, I went to Ft Bliss for a week and it's also pretty crappy. Now Ft. Sam Houston, that place is badass. I spent three years there.

While there I did everything I could, including talking to the Signal Corp commander at Ft Benning to divert to Ft Bragg. No go, he said for some reason, you are pinpointed to Carson and no changing it. Was a cool 2 years. :D

My term was ending, they wouldn't let me re-enlist and just said I need to follow up with VA. What a crock of shit that was. Got denied 3 times then finally a traveling board was in St Pete I went in front of. Mind you at this time I had already had one hip surgery and they wanted to do the other. The head of that board was basically like "WTF is wrong with this picture" Approved my case on the spot. Still declined to have my other hip surgery. It made the one I did have just as bad, just in a different way.

Why is the cowhead show changing names to Mike Calta show? hmmmm lets think about that, Bubba contemplated changing his name last year to the Todd Clem show. But then Bubba didnt do it. Next Bubba doesnt get invited to Howards birthday but Cowhead does...hmmmm makes me think that Howard wanted to give Bubba a show but wanted him to change his show name. Since Bubba didnt want to Howard went to Cowhead and offered him a show ifd he changed his name and invited him to his birthday party. Could that be the case or is it just a HUGE coincidence? Just a theory but we will see if Cowhead ends up on Sirius.

Yep, sounds like he's butthurt over "corporate radio" not believing in him. I can see both sides here. I personally think he's paid his debt to radio society and deserves a second chance, but I can also see radio big wigs not wanting to take a flyer on him because of the perceived heat that he would garner.

It was pretty wild with the 16's Cpt. Either there was one small hole in the front and the whole back was blown out. Or there was just a small hole in the front, then when it was sliced open it was just all mush from the round spinning around. Pretty wild.
