Why does it seem everyone with a podcast or site is afraid to post it or promote it?

I know you guys share and post and repost stuff here, but don't you do a show for people to hear it?

If you do it to listen to yourself talk on the computer, that's kinda weird. If you think it's not of good quality, well then if you listened to Bubba's critique of Captain Thunder, you learned a lot. Your performance won't improve unless your practicing on the job.

It's been amazing to me and I don't care how they pull it off, guys like Spice and Manson in radio for many years, working 12+ hour days on this RadioIO project..

Good morning, Spaz. Good job. Seriously. It's harder than people think to do a one-hour podcast that isn't insipid or annoying. Keep up the good work.

For an example of how NOT to do it, check out Kevin Kraft's "Mad Scientist Party Hour" on iTunes. Kevin is usually fine, but his sidekick is simply intolerable, caused me to stop listening because he's so fucking awful beyond words.

Ok, I listened to episode #3. Still no milkman, very disappointing. How fucking hard is it to Skype up without a goddamned NASCAR race in the background? Also Chob sounds like his sister is tied up in SJ's basement and SJ is threatening to foul her, or worse, if Chob doesn't participate in Vanilla Radio. I got the feeling he would have rather had a root canal.

The anti-Benny song was good, send that shit in to the show. I also loved the "Cow Ski-Doo" discussion. The visual of SJ being pulled along the icy tundra of rural Canada made me lol.

There are some old recorded shows that still need to be uploaded but for the most part I think all the new ones will be live.

And thanks for the sound quality compliment - that was one of our biggest issues. We wanted it to sound like we were all sitting in a room together even though we're half a country away...

the way we recorded it made it 5x more editing but it allowed us all to be a lot clearer and not recorded from skype
